Kinetic Splendor: The Negro Leagues and Beyond

For all you major league baseball fans who are also lovers of fine art, we encourage you to view the exhibition, Kinetic Splendor: The Negro Leagues and Beyond at the Museum of Art and Origins in Harlem, New York.

The exhibit presents a number of oil paintings and wood-cuts by artist Lou Grant.  A former baseball player, Grant draws on his recollections of childhood to represent heroes of the Negro Leagues who drew faithful crowds of baseball fans in the 1930s and 1940s.

Kinetic Splendor is on view through April 21st.
