A few weeks ago I sat down with artist, Laura James, and discussed her work, the new children's book she illustrated, and The Sassier Project where she will produce the 14 Stations of the Cross for churches in Sassier, Haiti. The project is a collaboration with the Queens, NY-based group, From Here to Haiti, and is still accepting donations to help realize its goals.
